Black Mask Security Services (BMSS) is a Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment, Level 1 Contributor Company that is 100% Black Woman Owned and Managed, established to provide dependable, high-quality Security Services in the highly competitive Private Security Industry. The company offers an array of security services to its diverse and growing customer base throughout the Republic of South Africa.
With its head office in Johannesburg, BMSS was established in 2009 as a result of a growing need in the Private Security Industry for the economic mainstreaming of black security companies that comply to statutory, regulatory and Industry requirements. The company is fully accredited by the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA). All deployed security officers in client environment are appropriately registered with the regulatory authority and are paid in line with the Department of Labour’s Basic Condition of Service: Sectoral Determination 6: Private Security Sector and the new National Minimum Wages Act of 2018’s requirements. In addition, BMSS is a member of the Security Association of South Africa (SASA), also the largest employers’ association in the security sector, providing a range of services that benefit security employers, their employees – and ultimately the consumers of security services.
